Sea Breeze
The perfect glass of delicious on a cozy afternoon; cranberry and pineapple juice with a splash of vodka. This drink follows the classic cocktail principle of balancing strong alcohol with weak fruit juice. The drink originates in the 1920′s but contained different ingredients -gin and grenadine. Now a days there’s some places that will make the Sea Breeze with vodka, dry vermouth, Galliano, and blue Curaçao. The one I display is much easier using only three ingredients.
Make it:
1oz Vodka
1 Part Cranberry Juice (as much or as little as you like, depending on the glass you use.)
1 Part Pineapple Juice (as much or as little as you like, depending on the glass you use.)
This drink can be shaken or stirred, so depending on your preference, either pour ingredients directly into the glass with ice, or pour them into a shaker and strain into a glass with ice.
